“Next Generation Online Simulations, Serious Games and Immersive Learning”.
Using a combination of interactive workbooks, users navigated through a virtual environment where they made decisions and received tailored feedback. My primary role was to create photorealistic environments for the Virtual Case Creator (VCC) using 3ds Max and the Mental Ray rendering engine, integrating these 3D spaces into a web-based learning tool. I also directed, filmed, chroma-keyed, and edited the video segments that delivered real-time feedback based on user choices. Beyond content creation, I helped maintain the system, led instructional sessions to familiarize students with its functionality and underlying pedagogy, and collaborated with healthcare professionals to ensure the accuracy and relevance of each simulation. Over the course of the project, we supported more than 18,000 user submissions and developed 34 simulations for both internal and external partners.
